I purchased a car from J&R a couple of weeks ago. John was most helpful and friendly with both questions and answers. The car had been re checked and was ready for collection at the agreed time together with all the paperwork ready. I am delighted with the car . The service received was excellent, as was the car. I would recommend the company without any hesitation.

Have been dealing with this Company for some years now and always very polite and helpful. Somehow they appear to know exactly what a customer requires and are always willing to try to find the exact vehicle or one with similar spec etc. that suits the needs. Highly recommend them.

I bought a car from this team in June. There were a couple of issues, but then the car was over ten years old, they helped get them sorted and now I am loving it. They are professional and respectful, they also enjoyed some football banter with my Millwall supporting father. I would recommend them and their support to anyone.

I bought a 2015 grand c-max and within the first week I noticed a tyre was cracked on the outside edges. The windscreen had tons of chips and two 5mm in diameter. I called him and he said to contact my insurance company for the windscreen and the tyre was within MOT standard. He did offer to look at the car but to be honest if he’s already trying to fob me off then I am not driving to his garage for anything. Another problem occurred that I haven’t told him about, because of his attitude about the above issues I thought there’s no point. The clutch was making a little vibrating noise when pedal pressed, so I took it to a garage and was told that the clutch bearing needed replacing. I took it to another garage who said the same thing. All in I had to replace the clutch assembly, dual flywheel and slave cylinder!! Let’s just say it cost me a small fortune. I am just leaving this for all to see. The AA name and guarantee they are using to sell cars means nothing. Take a professional with you to view these cars or better still, just go somewhere else.

He wouldn’t budge on price which I understood and eventually I went to see the car and bought as I really liked it. I bought it on the 31/8/21 and it wasn’t until 10 days later after I washed it, I noticed two chips on the windscreen about 5-7mm in diameter. Upon further investigation, I noticed over 50 little tiny chips about 1-2mm in diameter. And to top it off the passenger side back tyre had lots of crack in between the treads. It looked like the tyre had been flat for a long time which would had caused this. I called the owner (John) who is a nice guy. However, he wouldn't help with the windscreen and is covered in the warranty. He said the tyre and car was within MOT standard. He said to pop in and he can have a look at the tyre, but to be honest it’s not worth it because I now have to buy a new windscreen. I would have thought at the very least he would have offered to help but instead told me to speak with my insurance company. Like say, nice guy but make sure to check the 100% before you buy because as nice as he is at the end of the day he’s a typical used car salesman!

Visited John after speaking on the phone to come view a Ford ecosport that we were interested in. Felt very comfortable in doing business with him and his company. Explained everything, very relaxed and welcoming, made the whole experience very exciting and enjoyable (as we haven't changed our car in nearly 10 years) has answered any subsequent questions after purchase and would most definitely recommend. Communication obviously an issue for this garage. Arranged appointment to view car for daughters 1st car, arrived to be told that car was sold earlier in the day. Simply could have phoned to tell me before I travelled an hour to get there! General reviews seem ok but would have been good to get to experience Thai great service others say they have?
